Energising Development (EnDev) is an energy access partnership programme financed by six donor countries and implemented in 26 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

Energising Development Mano River Union supports the development of a market for Improved Cook Stoves (ICS) in order to target deforestation, global warming, environmental and health problems. The target group are not only households but also social institutions e.g. schools that provide school meals.

Under the Project CVE/881, LuxDev and CERMI are implementing a Training of Trainers Program covering different RE and EE technologies. The next training will cover solar thermal technologies and it will take place for English speaking countries from 11th  to 22nd of November 2019 in CERMI, Praia, Cabo Verde

Wind Energy in Sierra Leone? Learn in a 5-days workshop that solar energy is not the only renewable energy source and construct your own wind turbine!

The German-Sierra Leonean association Bintumani D-SL will carry out a workshop in the wind energy sector. From November 4th until November 8th, 2019 Participants will learn how to construct a small wind turbine. The construction of the turbine is based on plans from Hugh Piggott and experts from Germany – KitRad (kitrad.org) and ERNI Kollektiv (erni-kollektiv.org).
